Healthy pumpkin and ricotta savoury cakes.

Healthy pumpkin and ricotta savoury cakes.

I usually start my posts writing the Italian one, not today as today I’m writing for a special occasion, the first #IFBCX recipe exchange.

What is IFBCX?

It’s the official hashtag for International Food Blogger Cooperative Facebook Group.

A place where food bloggers from all over the world can cooperate, learn, share.

To know better each other I suggested a recipe exchange similar to the one I usually do with Bloggalline ( Italian food bloggers group).

Many joined it, even if not so many I’m used to with Bloggalline, I’m so happy and I had the chance to surf a very beautiful blog, Dani’s cookings, written by Daniela from Sofia, Bulgaria.

Kale chips ( or crunchy bat’s wings for Halloween).

kale chips

I know, kale chips are a thing at least since 2012, there is no vegan/ healthy/ fitness blog without this recipe on.

Kale is not a common cabbage at home, my mum did these chips for the first time some weeks ago and we all loved them.

I, so, arrive late, really late but I think they could be a great ” scary” alternative for you Halloween party as they pretty remember of bat’s wings.

We all know on 31th October every adult and every child eats a bunch of sweet and savoury junkies, giving a different treats could be a nice idea for the most food upstanding people, intolerants, vegetarians or vegans.

Back again with a recipe, as I told you I have some many new recipes to post I have the problem to decide what comes first.

But why should I decide and not you?

So I throw a survey on my Facebook page, I did it on saturday and so many joined.

It was a simply photo, I just asked to comment with a number:

All the recipes had their own fans but the number four won everything: they are “gnudi” vegetarian dumplings from Tuscany made of spinach and ricotta cheese.

Grapefruit Sour IPA sherbet.

This is another recipe I created for Cantina della Birra, a shop online dedicated to beers of every kind and nation.

As their blog is in Italian only I’m free to share on mine the recipe in English.

English is the brewery from where the beer I used comes from: Siren Craft Brew, Berkshire.

Pompelmocello is a great IPA, perfect for summer, so I decided to enjoy it into a fresh sherbet, the perfect dessert for a summer dinner.

Hot summer, nasty summer.

I have a lot of issues, hubby had a work incident and can’t work so I have to work for both.

No time for cooking, no time for writing.

I’m only posting what I have settled in the past months.

I hope holidays and then fall will close this awful period.

This recipe is easy and part of our standard summer weekmeals, I’ ve tried this for the first time years ago in a bistro in Santarcangelo called Ottavino.
