Even if I started back in October to post I’ve lost my advantage because life and now it’s 21 Dec. and I am writing for tomorrow, nothing posted for the last three days of the calendar! 🙁
We are fast approaching the end of this Cookie Advent Calendar: I had a lot of fun doing this and, as I had a lot of positive feedbacks about this, I am already thinking about a different one for the next year.
I am thinking about festive appetizers, let’s see if this project will see the light!
If you make a Cookie Advent Calendar you cannot miss the most iconic Christmas cookie recipe: gingerbreads!
I’ve never made them before, I’m not fond of spices but they really worth a try!
Of course web is packed with gingerbread recipes but I used the one from my favourite British baker, Paul Hollywood!
Grisbì are one of my favourite storebough cookies: I love them so much that I never buy them or I clean the box by myself in 5 minutes!
My favourite ones are the hazelnut filled and the lemon filled Grisbì.

Today I want to send my greetings to all the vegans out there with this easy but delicious cookie recipe; okara is the meal you obtain when you squeeze all the “milk” from almonds.
This recipe comes from my old friend Maddalena, very involved in food making from scratch and veganism.
