I put my hands on I book I was craving for years:
I jiggled when the postman came, saying loudly ” This is the book about fika I was waiting!”.
I was at work with my husband and a seller he was talking with.
Unluckly fika in Italian means pussy ( that pussy!) so you can imagine me running into explanations about what fika is for Swedish people. 😀
I’m working again on my project about the world trip in 80 piadina turnovers.
It had a long stop because as usual I have so many things to do and so many things to post but now I found the time to study new countries and new fillings and soon I will posts the recipes.
I wanted to make an Italian turnover, nothing new, I did the most classic one, called ” cassone rosso” or ” red turnover”: it’s filled with tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
It reminds you of something? 😀
I am back in this first day of autumn.
Autumn which is arrived properly: light rain, orange leaves, cold weather good to wear a jacket.
I am so happy with this season!
Unluckly the time for blog is still non- existent and because of it I set aside the long post with travel suggestions and only rush for recipe ones because I have so many to post and because they are quicker to write.
We spent another whole week- end at home, on the couch.
Mainly because we are saving energy for the next weeks, when school, rugby and many other things will start again after the summer break but also because the weather was rainy and we were too lazy to plan anything but what to see on Netflix.
We are back from holidays and we yet don’t feel like we have ever been.
Lot of work, lot of rush; after month without a home fitness chance I decided to give in with gym: five days a week of course or it doesn’t work.
I AM DEAD.
I didin’t have the chance to cook a lot after our return, only a dessert for a family meal last sunday.
I took the recipe from a magazine and it turned out… AWFUL.
